Accomplished New Zealand Based, Commercial Photographer with Over 15 Years of Experience.

With a BMA, majoring in Photography, New Zealand born Jess Bicknell spent over 10 years in Melbourne working as a freelance and studio-based photographer.

Specialising in stylised products, beautiful food imagery and natural lifestyle shots, Jess works independently and collaborates in large studio teams to create considered, high-quality commercial images.

Jess draws on her ability to understand and manipulate light to convey a visual narrative and create the perfect image. This, coupled with her diverse life and professional experience, has resulted in authenticity that can be felt in her work - a unique skill that can be hard to harness.

Jess’s flexible easy-going nature, collaborative approach and extensive experience have allowed continued professional relationships with her existing international brands by working remotely from the Bay of Plenty, as well as extending her New Zealand client base since her return in December 2020.
